The plot isn't much--a basic kill-or-be-killed premise spiked with a healthy shot of paranoia--but Willliamson and Rodriguez do a great job of building the tension slowly but surely. When some very creepy things start happening around school, the kids at Herrington High make a chilling discovery that confirms their worst suspicions: their teachers really are from another planet. I remember seeing this in the theater with friends on my 25th birthday, just a few days after it opened in 1998. The scenes from beginning to end are very clearly put together. The Faculty is funny, fast & gripping as well as having your talented A-class actors & showcasing superstar singer Usher Raymond first screen appearance & has made his mark in the big screen along with big names to make this entertaining. Sci-fi & fantasy.

The Faculty is no exception, though the formula is radically different from his standard approach. I love the storyline, a really great take on an alien invasion and even after all this time it is still one of my favourite alien films.
