Excellent food. I had the chicken curry, which I would recommend. We asked for an authentic meal, nothing too heavy & asked the gentleman for his recommendations. Food was heavenly good, and service nice and warm. Would recommend this place :)Mekong never ceases to impress and is still one of my favourite restaurants in Villefranche Sur Mer. We didn't think it was particularly authentic, but none the less very nice. A small restaurant, cozy and friendly. The food was very fresh and tasty and a good variety of vegetarian options.

The restaurant is small and was full when we went.We ordered the shrimp dumplings and a pork egg noodle dish. Food came quickly. Only cash is accepted for payments. The food was fine but by no means special and it didn’t stand out from the many similar establishments.
