The facade of the building is impressive, the views are nice, the service was good and the food in the restaurant was a good standard, but the state of the inside and the facilities are underwhelming verging on bad.

Our stay started with a cocktail reception in the Rotonde salon.

Rooms in the Château were awful - tired, dated, no air con, horrible old bathrooms, cheap and nasty fixtures and fittings (think Changing Rooms circa 1995 - dreadful chipboard painted bright colours, flimsy curtains, fake mouldings etc).
